Student
designers from Stephens College of Fashion and Design collaborated and created
their own production runway show called “PULSE.”
The
show featured and showcased student designers’ works and collections from 2010
to 2011.
The
collection were of swim wears, cardio wears or exercise outfits for indoors and
outdoors, weekend or everyday wear, work or career outfits, something you could
wear to work or to school, and some cool and comfortable garments.
Most
collections were males but there were female wears as well.
The concept of the whole show was ease
and comfort ability. Showcasing garments that fits someone who is physically active
and like who’s always mobile and kind of like have busy day all day.
So
there is more of like rugged instead of formal wears and models walk on snickers and some comfy shoes,
wearing denim pants and cargo short, jackets and blazers and some sweat suits
with hoods and ride on bicycles on the runway and or wearing backward caps and
day shades.
It is more of like the usual thing,
except that they are more dated and fashionable, mixed and matched instead of
just putting one layer before another that do not match at all, and you look
like you just came out of laundry.
These ones are simple and cool but
fashionable and in style. Even the way the male models wear their hair is
really like a normal day but looks really good and the skin tattoos even matched
the whole look, raw at some point rugged but looks really neat and decent.
The designs were so good, everyone loved
the simplicity and it sure ended up in stores shortly after.
